Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pharmacist located in Thiruvananthapuram Taluka. The Pharmacist will be responsible for managing inventory, dispensing medications accurately, providing essential counseling to patients, and ensuring compliance with applicable healthcare regulations. Additional responsibilities include maintaining records, assisting with stock replenishment, and offering excellent customer service to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and prescription medications
- Experience in inventory management and maintaining pharmacy stock levels
- Proficiency in counseling patients on safe medication usage and storage
- Strong attention to detail and skills in maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work on-site and proactively manage day-to-day pharmacy operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) with relevant certification
- Licensure as a registered pharmacist in compliance with local regulations
- Prior experience in a retail pharmacy or healthcare environment is an advantage
